One important thing for women to remember when preparing for a hunt is the recoil of the deer rifle. Skipping makeup altogether may be best though some ladies are unwilling to do this. The good news is that deer hunting is not a beauty contest. The exception to this would be if Mr. Right happens to be in the hunting party but that can be discussed in another article. Be sure to use scent eliminator spray at the hunt especially on the hair if it is thick. Bathe in scent eliminating body wash and shampoo that morning as well as wash hunting clothes in scent eliminating laundry detergent. Also, scent eliminating deodorant under the arms and even on the bottoms of the feet is helpful. Feet do sweat in warm socks so this seems to help control odor.
Women should enjoy hunting deer as much as the guys do. Keeping these simple things in mind will help to make it a positive experience and hopefully even lead to showing off a trophy buck.
